Donate Used Sporting Goods and Apparel to WBR via The Pros Closet

You know the Fruit Loops cycling jersey your Aunt Suzy gave you for Christmas that you will never wear? The bright pink sports watch you won in a raffle that is so not your style? The awesome pair of running shorts you found on sale, bought, but then heartbreakingly don’t fit you? We are sure you have items like this collecting dust in your closet! World Bicycle Relief now has a great way for you to trade these items in for a tax-deductible receipt by way of a new partnership with eBay auctioneer experts, The Pro’s Closet. The Pro’s Closet (TPC) is a Colorado based company specializing in the resale of new and used cycling gear/clothing. Owned and operated by former pro riders, TPC takes the hassle and headache out of getting the most out of your in-kind donation. TPC will list your items as donations to World Bicycle Relief through eBay’s Mission Fish Giving program. After the moderate commission TPC takes for professionally listing your items, all proceeds go directly to World Bicycle Relief and you receive a tax receipt for your donation amount. In celebration of the launch of this partnership, The Pro’s Closet is donating an extra 5% of their normal commission to World Bicycle Relief for any donations they receive before Sunday, June 19^th. They will put their 6 years of selling experience and online reputation to work in order to put top dollar towards World Bicycle Relief’s Bicycles for Educational Empowerment program. Whether it is a used cycling jersey from an old team or a new crankset that never saw the trail, TPC crew can get you dialed in. The Pro’s Closet offers two ways to donate your gear:

Local pick-up: They will send someone out to you in the Denver Metro Area, Front Range, Summit County, and the Roaring Fork Valley.
Non-local: Simply box up your items and contact TPC at info@theproscloset.com for a FedEx pre-paid label. All they need are dimensions, weight, and number of boxes. It's that easy.

Once they receive your items, they will inventory and professionally photograph each item in house before sending them to their posting department where each item is researched and priced according to current market value. Be sure to include a note informing TPC that your items are an in-kind donation to World Bicycle Relief! We at World Bicycle Relief are very happy to offer this opportunity to our supporters.
