Matt McKinney Swaps Wrenches for Wheels

Service Course Cyclocross Team member and bike mechanic Matt McKinney has been challenged to put down his wrenches and get on two wheels! The Ohio Valley Cyclocross Series (OVCX) Finale race takes place in Indianapolis on December 16. The Indy Cycloplex provides a great venue for Matt to show his fitness, or lack thereof, in front of some of the Midwest's best CX racers....and hecklers. Matt will have a World Bicycle Relief bike on display, in addition to literature on the organization.

"I always make a donation in December (all donations are matched $-for-$) and this will be a fun way to increase awareness and up that contribution. So many of us use bikes for recreation and sport--I want to show the power the Buffalo Bicycle can provide."

Matt will be personally donating $10 per rider that places in front of him in the CAT4 field, and $1 per rider that places behind him. He's inviting you to participate in the challenge by either donating a dollar amount based on his placing or simply making a general contribution on his fundraising page.

Matt's goal is $1,340 (10 bikes)--but because of the match in December, that will amount to 20 bikes in the field!
