Team World Bicycle Relief: Anneke Beerten

Team World Bicycle Relief welcomes Anneke Beerten, a champion mountain biker hailing from Macharen, Netherlands. Anneke’s big rides this year include the World Enduro Mountainbike Series and the 4-Cross World Championships (defending her two-year championship title!).

Anneke has been riding non-stop since she was four years old and has a deep passion for bicycles. When you’re passionate about something, you want to share it--and what better way to do so than by providing others with bikes? She expresses, “The way I feel while riding my bike is not something I can put down on paper. It’s a feeling that everyone should experience for themselves. For me, riding a bike makes me happy and puts a smile on my face,” and she wants others to experience that same bliss that can come from the Power of Bicycles.

Anneke’s motto is “Live life! Love life!” and she hopes her involvement in Team WBR will encourage others to approach life with that same passion.
