Team World Bicycle Relief welcomes Casey Long of Carlsbad, California! With a fundraising goal of $1,000, Casey’s racing year in support of World Bicycle Relief is packed with triathlons--The Wildflower Long Course, Rev3 Portland Half, Pacific Grove, Scott Tinley Triathlon Adventure, and the Pumpkinman Half.
Casey was first inspired to support World Bicycle Relief because as he puts it, "The work not only helps people but also empowers them in addition to boosting the economy and commerce." Casey explains, “When I heard about World Bicycle Relief I saw an opportunity to tie in philanthropy with my passion of endurance sport. I also appreciate the structure of the charity as it aligns with my core belief that people want to be empowered to buoy themselves rather than have their hand held. I am excited about the privilege of being a member of Team World Bicycle Relief and contributing to the cause!”
