Team World Bicycle Relief: Tess Weathers

Team World Bicycle Relief welcomes triathlete and snowboarder Tess Weathers!
Tess spends a lot of time on a bicycle and understands the tremendous impact a single bicycle can have in areas where access to transportation is limited. Tess explains, "The reality that a single bicycle can improve a young girl’s entire life, a family’s sustenance, and a community’s infrastructure is humbling and inspiring. By reaching out through my own aspirations, I hope to inspire others who appreciate the power of pedaling and hope to inspire other triathletes and snowboarders"
As a triathlete, Tess will continue to compete in Rocky Mountain Collegiate Conference triathlons, concluding with Regionals in Lake Havasu; she also plans to complete the Wildflower Long Course in Lake San Antonio, CA. In snowboarding, Tess hopes to qualify for and compete in the USA Snowboard Association National Championships for slalom and giant slalom at Copper Mountain, CO.
Tess heard about World Bicycle Relief through a friend and saw a special opportunity to "dedicate part of what I love, snowboarding and triathlon, to empowering students, small businesses, and communities through World Bicycle Relief."
Thanks for sharing your passion with us, welcome to the team!
