WBR’s partners and supporters from Colorado have been busy sharing about the Power of Bicycle all over the great state. Check out these recent events!
Eric Hockman reached out throughout the local bike community in Golden to help make this event a reality. The support showed the true power of people coming together to help change lives through the power of bicycles.
Long-time WBR supporter Biju Thomas, owner of the popular Denver eatery, Biju’s Little Curry Shop, decided to host an evening to benefit World Bicycle Relief and the Krempel’s King of the Road Challenge, an organization heavily supported by pro cyclist Ted King. The result was great food, plenty of beer, and lots of laughs. Join us August 26th for #PowerofCurry Part 2!
SRAM Rep Weston Ludazzer had a vision to kick off the Tour of Utah with an event to benefit World Bicycle Relief. Teaming up with Drapac Pro Cycling and local shop Contender Bicycles, this event saw over 100 cycling enthusiasts that came to learn more about WBR and mingle with the pros.
The 3rd Annual Tour de SRAM, hosted in Colorado Springs, had its best turnout yet. With over 300 people that attended to enjoy the local Bristol beer, food trucks, and compete in the Funduro event, there were smiles all around. With both silent and live auctions, the event raised over $10,000 to mobilize individuals through the Power of Bicycles.
A big thanks to all of WBR’s staff, supporters and friends in Colorado. Keep up the good work!
