October 14, 2017 - October 21, 2017
Come and travel with us to Zambia! This October, you can experience how our bicycles empower individuals and communities in rural Africa. You’ll connect with people you have mobilized and experience the impact of your support firsthand.
Your deadline to register is June 14.
During Field Trip: Zambia, you’ll witness what it’s like to race the sun as it rises and sets across the beautiful, Acacia-lined horizon. You’ll experience the vast, dusty distances that people travel each day by foot to reach schools, clinics and markets. You’ll also feel the dramatic difference that a strong, purpose-built Buffalo Bicycle makes in the life of a student or healthcare worker as you ride over the rugged terrain.
When you participate in a school bicycle distribution, you can expect to be greeted with a vibrant welcome – filled with music, dance and song. Joy will wash over you as you join the lively crowd assembled to celebrate.
After celebrating new bicycles and new beginnings, you’ll travel to the home of a student. There you’ll be embraced with welcoming smiles. As you settle into conversation, you’ll listen to stories about the real struggles of daily life in rural Zambia.
On this once-in-a-lifetime trip, you’ll see that despite the challenges Zambians face each day, they continue to find ways to thrive with bicycles. Come, be inspired – by the beauty of this rich landscape and by the resilience of the people you will meet.
