InGamba Embraces the Power of Bicycles

World Bicycle Relief is honored to have InGamba as part of our Steel Partner Group that includes organizations that support World Bicycle Relief at an annual level of $50,000 and higher. We first started working with Joao Correia and the InGamba team in 2013 when the touring company started donating 2% of their trip sales to World Bicycle Relief with a message to their community  to consider making a personal gift to match the company’s contribution. Over the years, the support has grown dramatically with InGamba adding many other initiatives to their WBR efforts. These include the addition of an annual ride in Mill Valley in May, exclusive custom jersey offers that benefit our work and adding a World Bicycle Relief / InGamba- themed trip to their robust tours schedule in Europe. Over the years, we’re thrilled to share that these various efforts have contributed funds for over 800 bicycles for our programs. When asked about InGamba’s profound support for WBR, Joao Correia shared:

We all love our bikes. To us, it means fun. It means stress relief. It means time with friends or time on your own clearing your head. But the bike is more than just a recreational tool for the people WBR are helping – it’s a means to arrive safely and on time to school to get vital medical aid and to improve their economic chances. If cycling is a game for us, for them it’s a game-changer. We’re extremely proud to support World Bicycle Relief.

Thank you to our friends at InGamba for helping make our work possible!
