The 7th annual CycloFemme Ride, which takes place May 11-13, welcomes participants in hundreds of cities spanning the globe. The annual event unites riders, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity or bicycle preference to share in the joy of cycling.
Embracing the 2018 theme, RIDE Together RISE Together, riders are encouraged to join or lead a ride in their community and help girl students rise in rural Zambia by raising funds for Buffalo Bicycles through World Bicycle Relief.
Join riders around the globe to share in the CycloFemme experience! Choose from more than 100 CycloFemme rides in 10 countries. Here’s a sample of rides and activities that we’re excited about!:
- On Friday, May 11, Rapha Chicago and BFF Bikes will lead a beautiful morning ride starting at the Rapha Chicago clubhouse, heading down the Lakefront Path toward Promontory Point and ending at World Bicycle Relief’s office for coffee, pastries and a special tour. - On Saturday, May 12, join a short group ride starting on the Lakefront Path and leading to Centered Studios, a yoga studio in Rogers Park, for a Yoga for Cyclists class. Registration and details can be found here.
- Celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 13 with a casual bike ride by Lake Michigan with an inspiring community led by World Bicycle Relief supporters. Details can be found here.
New York City
Bicycle Habitat is once again celebrating CycloFemme! Join this community on Saturday, May 12 for various ride options, including a 10-mile Transportation Alternatives Advocacy Ride to help keep bike lanes in the Upper Manhattan neighborhood. Registration and details can be found here.
Join Equator Coffees and Teas for a ride starting at its Fort Mason location, riding across the Golden Gate Bridge and exploring Sausalito and the Paradise Loop. Options to take a shorter route and the ferry back to SF will be offered. Free drip coffee will be provided at the start! More info can be found here.
Celebrate CycloFemme in Louisville for the 3rd consecutive year! On Sunday, May 13, enjoy a ride through the city for all ages and levels, starting and ending at Apocalypse Brew Works, with a chance to win raffle prizes. Details can be found here.
