WBR Fundraisers Overcome for the Power of Bicycles

Our fundraisers are a global community of ordinary people doing extraordinary things to share the Power of Bicycles with others. From age 5 to 95, we invite anyone to come alongside us to help mobilize students, healthcare workers and entrepreneurs.

We hope you will be inspired by these individuals using their passions and challenging themselves to support World Bicycle Relief. From Rebecca Rusch, overcoming the heights of Kilimanjaro, to Griffin Schneider overcoming the elements in Vermont. From Mirinda Carfrae racing the Ironman World Championships to Chris Shotty’ Shotwell racing cyclocross. From Jordan Rapp overcoming the odds to Biju Thomas overcoming food critics. The examples are endless. But the impact is clear. A Buffalo Bicycle provides reliable transportation for a student like Ethel, trying to access education in rural Zambia. It’s not just a tool for empowerment – it’s a symbol of joy, hope, and opportunity.

Since 2007, over 2,200 people from 31 countries have helped raise more than nearly $5 Million. Every bike makes a difference in the lives of the people we serve.
