Planned  Giving
A planned gift is a gift that is structured and that integrates sound personal, financial, and estate-planning concepts with your plans for lifetime giving. A planned gift has tax implications and is often transmitted through a legal instrument, such as a will or a trust. These gifts provide an estate tax deduction and have a tremendous impact on our ability to support our mission. If you would like information on how to include World Bicycle Relief in your will or estate plan, we recommend you speak with a tax professional.

Donor-Advised Funds
A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a separately identified account set up through a public foundation operating as a Canadian registered charity. It allows donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax benefit and then recommend grants from the fund over time. An easy way to think about a donor-advised fund is like a charitable savings account: a donor contributes to the fund as frequently as they like and then recommends grants to their favorite charity when they are ready. Please check with your financial advisor how to recommend a donation to World Bicycle Relief through this vehicle.
