World Bicycle Relief is an international nonprofit specializing in large-scale bicycle programs that support education, health, economic development, and gender equality worldwide.

World Bicycle Relief mobilizes communities in rural regions around the world to thrive with life-changing bicycles.

World Bicycle Relief UK is a charity registered in England and Wales (Charity Registration Number: 1141613). World Bicycle Relief UK, and a limited company (by guarantee) established in 2011 is registered in England (Registration Number: 7550335).

We are registered with the Fundraising Regulator and are members of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.

Our Achievements

We were delighted to be the international charity for the 2025 Times and Sunday Times Christmas Appeal. In 2025, WBR was also shortlisted in the Financial Times Africa Sustainable Futures Awards.

The Buffalo Bicycle Utility S2 has earned international recognition, winning both the prestigious 2024 Eurobike Gold Award and the German Design Award for excellence in engineering.
