HANK BROWN – Chairman & President
Hank is actively involved with a number of startup businesses, with an expertise in healthcare. In supporting these startups, Hank assists with commercialization efforts, managing product development and investor pitch development to raise capital. His work as a coach and mentor has created the opportunity to serve as board adviser and member to several companies.
DAVE NEISWANDER – Board Member
Dave was Africa Director for World Bicycle Relief from 2007 until 2016 when he was appointed President. Dave serves on the Board of Directors for WBR-Canada, WBR-UK, WBR-Germany, and WBR-Australia.
LIAM PHILLEY – Board Member
Liam’s career in Management Consulting and Technology has evolved into the pursuit of his passions for cycling and alpine skiing. Liam has competed in road and MTB XC races in South Africa and Canada, qualifying twice for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in 2015 and 2019. Liam is also a Level 2 Ski Instructor at Whistler Blackcomb.
Cycling became an obsession in 2001 after a winter commuting challenge. From there, cycling quickly became a way to give back, seeking out all manner of charity rides, notably Tour For Kids in Ontario, and Joburg to Cape Town Rides for Cancer during his years living in South Africa. While in South Africa, Liam volunteered with both the Qhubeka and Change a Life Foundations. Liam is also is an avid amateur photographer. His work has been in numerous cycling publications and has covered UCI Tour events in Europe and Africa.
Liam and his wife, Tina, reside in Oakville and Whistler.
KATRIINA NIITSOO – Board Member
Katriina Niitsoo is an accomplished leader in the financial services sector with two decades of experience in commercial and corporate banking, risk management and head office strategy. Through this experience, Katriina has developed a strong track record of driving strategic initiatives and fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
Katriina’s professional accomplishments are matched by her deep commitment to community involvement and advocacy. Katriina is dedicated to supporting women in business and young professionals through leadership and participation in various initiatives, including founding RBC’s Women in Real Estate Committee and mentoring early-career professionals in real estate and finance.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Katriina enjoys spending time outdoors with her children, extended family and friends at her cottage north of Toronto. Warmer weather days are filled with cycling, playing in the lake, and bonfires. In the winter, she embraces the snowy landscape through skiing and fun-filled winter hikes in the snow.
