World Bicycle Relief and Lidl-Trek

The Rules:
World Bicycle Relief UK will be running DONATE TO WIN A LIDL-TREK HELMET RAFFLE (the Raffle) from Wednesday 09th July 2025 to Tuesday 29th July 2025
The Raffle winner(s) will be drawn, at random, on Thursday 31st July 2025.
There will be one winner:
- The first raffle ticket/entry drawn will win the Lidl-Trek helmet worth approx. £600
Terms and Conditions
1. This raffle is a global competition open to participants who donate in one of three currencies: pounds sterling (£), US dollars (USD), or Canadian dollars (CAD). These Terms and Conditions apply specifically to entries made via donations in pounds sterling (£). Entries via this route are open only to residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales) who are aged 16 or over at the time of entry. Residents of Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands are not eligible to enter through this route.
2. Promoter: World Bicycle Relief UK, 4th Floor, St Catherine’s Court, Berkeley Place, Bristol, BS8 1BQ.
3. A person may enter the Raffle as many times as they wish and on any day for the duration of the Raffle. Tickets cost a donation of £1 each.
4. Payments not made in equal pounds will be rounded down to the nearest £1 when calculating the number of raffle tickets allocated. For example: if you donate £10.80 you will receive only 10 raffle tickets in the draw, with the remainder being treated as a donation.
5. Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.
6. Tickets are not to be sold to, or by any person under the age of 16 years old. If we suspect someone may be under the age of 16, then we will request proof of age. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 they will be exempt from the Raffle and will forfeit their prize.
7. Tickets are purchased via donating on a specific Enthuse raffle check out link, you must ensure you follow the instructions and tick the box to say we can view your email address and that you have read these terms. Any payments received where this box is not ticked will be treated as a general donation because we will be unable to contact you.
8. No responsibility is taken by World Bicycle Relief UK if we send you an email, in relation to The Raffle, and it does not reach you or is blocked by a filter.
9. The Raffle is registered under The Gambling Act 2005: Bristol City Council, College Green, Bristol BS1 5TR
10. Tickets are not to be sold on the street or door-to-door.
11. Any Employees or agencies of World Bicycle Relief UK, its group companies, or anyone else connected with the Raffle may not enter the Raffle.
12. Entries must be received by 23:59 (GMT) on the last day of the Raffle (Tuesday 29th July 2025). Money received after that time will be treated as a donation and will not be refundable or eligible for the Raffle.
13. The winner will be chosen at random.
14. The winner(s) will be notified on Thursday 31st July 2025. If the winner(s) cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner(s) and pick a replacement winner(s).
15. All prizes from The Raffle will be sent to winners in early 2024 to the address provided. World Bicycle Relief UK bears no responsibility for the prize once it has been posted.
15a. Due to production and supply chain challenges, we cannot guarantee the exact time the winner will receive the bike. TREK will take reasonable endeavours to ensure a timely delivery.
16. World Bicycle Relief UK reserves the right to cancel or amend the Raffle and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, pandemic, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of World Bicycle Relief’s control. Any changes to the Raffle will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by World Bicycle Relief UK.
17. World Bicycle Relief UK is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
18. By entering The Raffle, you give World Bicycle Relief UK permission to contact you to advise if you have been successful. You also consent to World Bicycle Relief UK to announce your win, using your name, publicly on World Bicycle Relief UK’s social media platforms.
19. Except where we have stated otherwise in these Terms and Conditions, any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
20. The winners’ names will be available 28 days after the closing date by emailing the following address uk@worldbicyclerelief.org
21. World Bicycle Relief UK accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach World Bicycle Relief UK by the relevant closing date for any reason. Automatically generated entries and entries via agents or third parties are invalid and shall not be considered. Entries become the property of World Bicycle Relief UK and are not returned.
22. World Bicycle Relief UK may disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these terms and conditions (in World Bicycle Relief UK’s sole opinion) or who, in World Bicycle Relief UK’s sole determination, has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest or unjust to other entrants including, without limitation, tampering with the operation of the prize draw, manipulating or rigging votes, hacking, deceiving, cheating or by harassing or threatening other entrants or a representative of World Bicycle Relief.
23. By entering the Raffle each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
24. World Bicycle Relief UK’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
25. World Bicycle Relief UK shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
26. These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
27. WBR UK reserves the right to end the Raffle in the UK early in the event that the total amount of tickets sold reaches £20,000
28. Donations made to enter this raffle are not eligible for Gift Aid. Gift Aid cannot be claimed on any donation associated with an entry into the raffle.
