In the aftermath of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, millions of people were displaced, losing their homes, livelihoods and transportation. After a visit to Sri Lanka, inspiration struck. For FK Day and Leah Missbach Day, it was clear: bicycles could help. In partnership with World Vision, World Bicycle Relief distributed 24,000 bicycles to students, health workers and entrepreneurs.
