Strengthening our bicycle ecosystem brings essential components closer to communities.

Building on the pilot success in 2024, our Buffalo Academy tripled its reach in 2025, training 2,793 students to scale bicycle maintenance efforts in Colombia. The program also launched an online training platform to make mechanic certification more accessible and created new bicycle maintenance kits using recycled materials. By 2026, the Buffalo Academy envisions becoming a fully replicable model for World Bicycle Relief’s operations worldwide!
